Welcome to 2024, trail enthusiasts and nature lovers! We at the G5 Trail Collective are thrilled to announce that this year is shaping up to be our biggest and best yet. As we embark on this exciting journey, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible sponsors and volunteers who made 2023 a year to remember. Your dedication and support have been the backbone of our success.
Last year was a remarkable one, thanks to the unwavering support of our sponsors and the tireless efforts of our volunteers. We proudly advanced our mission, with 12 miles of trails now open or in progress, and Old Fort has blossomed alongside our efforts, welcoming 13 new businesses. This progress, a narrative of unity, is woven by the hands of G5, Pisgah Productions, and Tanawha Adventures. These trails and the exhilarating races drawing 4,480 spirited registrations are celebrations of our joint commitment to the land and community. Our volunteers, all 275 of you, have been the lifeblood of this journey, dedicating 3,000 hours in 2023 alone. Each of the 36 trail work days this year has been a testament to what we can achieve together.

More Trail Running and MTB: We're ramping up the number of organized trail rides, ensuring that there's something for everyone. From serene beginner paths to challenging routes for the seasoned riders, our calendar is packed with adventure.
Expanding Volunteer Opportunities: The heart of our collective is our volunteers. This year, we're introducing more volunteer opportunities, allowing more community members to get involved in trail maintenance, event organization, and environmental conservation efforts.
Enhanced Trail Experience: With the support of our sponsors, we're upgrading several trails with new signage, improved safety features, and eco-friendly amenities. Our goal is to make your trail experience more enjoyable and sustainable.
