About the event
We are meeting in the parking lot just past the Curtis Creek Campground. Bring some sturdy hiking boots, gloves, long pants, lunch and water. From there we will hike up and around to a section just above the Hickory Branch Falls and build steps. We will be using shovels, hammers, buckets and rogue hoes to shape and fill carefully crafted steps up a scenic hillside. Afterwards, we can go to the Ride House for a hearty meal and toast to our accomplishments!
