Come out and enjoy a nice morning brushing back aggressive and invasive vegetation along Old Forts most accessible trail. We will also plan on some tread work and possible tree cutting/removal near the middle of the trail.

About the event
Prepare to embrace the Fall weather while helping to clean up one of Old Fort's most accessible trails in the Gateway Trail system. No prior experience is needed. We will provide all the necessary tools. Just bring long pants, sturdy shoes, gloves, eyewear, bug spray, water, and snacks. The difficulty rating is 1 out of 5. We will plan on doing some tread work and cutting/removing larger trees at the halfway point of the trail.
We'll gather at the Davis Country Store to grab coffee, breakfast, snacks, or lunch before proceeding to the Gateway/Meadows parking lot.
