About the event
Trail work is FOR ALL. Everyone has different physical abilities which shape how we experience trails. Let's take the opportunity to get together and share our experiences while doing something good for the whole community.
Have you wanted to sign up to volunteer but feeling a little worried about the physical requirements? This day is an opportunity to work at our individual ability level, doing what we can comfortably physically do as long as we feel good doing it. This volunteer day is for all levels of ability! We'll work at the one and only Old Fort Ride House.
As always, Ride House will provide beverages, restrooms, banter and munchies for anyone volunteering for the day (Thank you Kitsbow!)
After a season of trail building and maintenence, our trail tools are ready for some love. We'll wash, clean, sharpen and mark tools together to prepare them for the upcoming seasons. There will be several different types of jobs to accomodate different abilities. This is the first "G5 all abilities trailwork day" of many. We look forward to getting together.
Please arrive with gloves and eyewear, prepared to spend as long as working feels good (up to 4 hours), laughing and telling story around the tables at Kitsbow Ridehouse. We're really excited to get together.
Trailwork Difficulty Rating 1/5: Come for as much or as little time as you feel comfortable (up to 4 hours), participate in whatever way works for your ability
