About the event

Becoming familiar the why’s and how’s of maintaining public trails can help you feel more comfortable and knowledgeable at future trail volunteer days. This program covers basic trail maintenance, from tools, to terrain, and techniques. Class time will be in the forest, and on the trails, with dirt on your hands, and probably on your face by the end. Nature enthusiasts. Hikers & Runners. Bikers. Equestrians. Anglers. Trail users of all types and backgrounds welcome!
This hands on, entirely field based community education program is supported by trail leaders from G5 Trail Collective and Grandfather Ranger District Recreation staff. Together we support outdoors for all and serve to open up pathways and entry points for more Women and + communities to get involved in the world of trails.
