About the event

Join us as we take care of a beautiful section of the Star Gap West trail in Pisgah National Forest! This trail, which winds alongside and crosses a picturesque creek before climbing up to Star Gap, intersects with the Heartbreak Ridge Trail—a favorite spot for many hikers and bikers.

 One of the culverts on this stunning trail is beginning to show itsself. We’ll be covering the exposed culvert to help keep the experience natural and avoid future problems.

  Trail work is  a great opportunity to give back to the trails we all love, enjoy some time outdoors, and meet fellow trail enthusiasts!

 Digging, use of rock tools, possible heavy lifting, digging tools, loppers

. Although not the longest walk in, we will be tired at the end of the day!
