The Old Fort Gateway Trails are opening to the public Sunday June 26! We invite you to bring your bike, your horse, or your hiking shoes and join the G5 Trail Collective Team, the Grandfather Ranger District, the community of Old Fort, and local partners in celebration!

About the event
This ribbon cutting is the culmination of years of partnership, volunteerism, and community building. The US Forest Service will be hosting this fun, family-friendly event in collaboration with the G5 Trail Collective & Camp Grier, Eagle Market Streets Development Corporation, and People on the Move Old Fort.

The event schedule is below, and the new Gateway Trails will be open in the afternoon, but we welcome you to come to Old Fort for the day to experience all the town has to offer. There's coffee and sweet treat shops, great lunch options, shopping, and art to experience in downtown Old Fort.

1:00 – Programing begins
1:30 – Ribbon cutting ceremony
2:00 – Explore the trails – guided hikes, rides, and runs
4:00 – Afterparty at Hillman Beer in downtown Old Fort
