Rebuilding the Gateway Trail

We are still at it, repairing the Helene damaged Gateway Trail. We need volunteers to help assemble another section of the retaining wall and stabilize the side slope of the trail.

About the event
We are constructing an additional wall! Indeed, we need to put up another wall to stabilize the side slope. This will involve staging lumber, assembling the wall, and digging. It's crucial for preserving the integrity of the damaged side slope. The project is highly rewarding and is expected to endure for many years!
Make sure to bring boots, long pants, gloves, protective eyewear, as well as water and snacks. We will supply transportation from Camp Grier, tools, and instruction. If the weather is warm enough, we might also go for a swim in the lake!
