Old Fort Trail Work Day - Kitsuma
We will be using shovels, hoes and rakes to remove debris and sediment preventing proper drainage, and smoothing over ruts to mitigate erosion. Expect to hike 1-2 miles from the Royal Gorge Trailhead near Ridgecrest Conference Center.

Come help us clear drains and perform minor treadwork along the upper sections of Kitsuma!
We will be using shovels, hoes and rakes to remove debris and sediment preventing proper drainage, and smoothing over ruts to mitigate erosion. Expect to hike 1-2 miles from the Royal Gorge Trailhead near Ridgecrest Conference Center.
- Limited to 8 People.
- Meet at the Old Fort Ride House beside Kitsbow and Hillman Beer.
- Bring water, snacks, gloves, and any other PPE that you have.
- Tools, PPE, and a crew leader will be provided by G5.
- We will drive to the trailhead separately and observe socially distancing requirements (6-foot separation) while working outside.
