Kitsuma is one of the most thrilling trails in Pisgah! A fast and challenging trail with one of the longest vertical descents in the area. People come from far and wide to SHRED this favorite. It's steepness, the thing that makes it every rider's favorite thriller also makes it one of the most chalenging to maintain, but with your help we're up to the challenge! Join Trek Asheville and the crew to using hand tools and rock baskets to rock armor and harden the tread surface in key areas to help mitigate braking bumps and reduce erosion to help ensure this trail stays open for a long time!

Be sure to bring your favorite gear, plenty of snacks and water, high tops, eye protection, long pants, leather gloves and whatever else you need to stay comfortable for a great 4+ hour day in the mountains
