About the event

Kitsuma is a crowd favorite in Pisgah. This trail sees mountain bikers, camp groups, hikers and tons of first time Pisgah visitors! Join the crew to help block erosion causing switchback cut offs by adding informational signage, moving timbers and relocating blackberry bushes. We'll dig up blackberries near the bottom of the trail and relocate them to key areas of the kitsuma climb trail.

Be sure to bring your favorite gear, plenty of snacks and water, high tops, eye protection, long pants, leather gloves and whatever else you need to stay comfortable for a great 4+ hour day in the mountains

Difficulty rating: 3/5 Frontcountry setting, 1+ mile hike, use of digging tools, thorns!
