Gateway Trail Work Day
Let's get together to take care of the muddy area on salt gap trail! With new trails come new opportunities for trail improvement. We're going to work to take care of the muddy section of Salt Gap Trail by installing turnpikes and hardening the trail surface so that the trail stays dry and packed

About the event
The Gateway trails are a HIT! Let's get out there and give them some TLC. We'll among the first volunteers to work on this awesome new trail system. We'll address a muddy area and enjoy a day on the forest. Looking for a little meatier project? We'll be building turnpiking!
Bring snacks, water, sturdy hiking boots, long pants, and anything you may need to be in the backcountry for the day.
Though Salt Gap Trail is close to the trailhead, This Trail work Day is Rated a 3/5 on the difficulty scale for: Rock work, Log prep, turnpike construction.
