About the event
Join us in cleaning up the debris from Hurricane Helene along Curtis Creek, near the Gateway Trailhead. In collaboration with Oak and Grist Distillery and Catawba Riverkeeper, we are united in our efforts to restore damaged Curtis Creek. All necessary tools, PPE, and a waste container for efficient trash and debris removal will be provided.
Afterwards volunteers and their families are invited back to Oak & Grist Distilling for complimentary food for the whole family. In addition the distillery will be donating 5% of seasonal cocktail, beer, and wine sales for the day to our partner non-profits. If you intend to join the afterparty, please RSVP for both events.
