About the event
Y'all, it's time to get together for trail-work, sillyness and a big old bonfire!
You're a leader, and you know it!
Join us for community and fun from 5pm friday until 2pm sunday.
We'll work until 2pm saturday, then have a great dinner and party, then work a half-day Sunday
Shuttles will run on Saturday between work and dinner.
Camp Grier will provide free lodging or camping as well as dinner and beer on Saturday night*
Got a Favorite tool or tools? Bring them with you!
Only available for one day? Can't do the whole thing? Need a low impact job? That's ok! Just let us know in the registration form
Weekend Schedule
Friday 3/15
- 5:00pm- Camp Grier gate, Check-in Table, camping and lodging open for the weekend!!
Saturday 3/16
- 7:30am- Complimentary drip coffee is served
- 7:30am- Food For Adventures elicious breakfast as well as grab and go lunch goodies available for purchase while supplies last!
- 8:30am-Crew Lead meeting at bike shop (Sourwood)
- 9:00am- All volunteers meet at the bike shop for announcements, crew assignments and safety briefing.
- 9:30am- Trail work begins/ Crews commute to work sites
- 2:00pm- Trail work end time
- 3:30pm- Trek Bike Demos and Shuttled rides to Kitsuma
- 5:30pm- Taco Bar dinner with gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options! Beer supplied by Stone Brewing and Sapporo
- 7:00pm- Festivities and fireside. Hang out at the campfire, Pump under the lights at Camp Grier's recently resurfaced pump track and enjoy campy vibes.
- Sunday 3/17
- 7:30am- Hot Shots Coffee is served
- 7:45am- Food For Adventures delicious breakfast as well as grab and go lunch goodies available for purchase while supplies last!
- 8:30am-Crew Lead meeting at bike shop (Sourwood)
- 9:00am- All volunteers meet at the bike shop (Sourwood) for announcements, crew assignments and safety briefing.
- 9:30am- Trail work begins/ Crews commute to work sites
- 12:00pm- Trail work finish
- 12:15pm- Meadows trail opening
Important Info
- Upon Arrival please sign in at the CHECK IN table next to the bike shop. Volunteers will help orient and direct you to your accomodation.
- Please bring your own snacks, water and equipment to spend 4-6 hours in the field and stay the night in a camp setting
- Camp Grier Lodging includes a bunk with bunk mat in an old timey summercamp style cabin! BYOB (Bring your own bedding)
- Lodging is limited
- Please Arrive prepared to camp, lodge, dig, eat and and have a great time with the trails community!
- With all G5 Trail work days please wear long pants, closed toe high top shoes or boots, bring clothing appropriate for the weather.
- As always at Camp Grier, no Dogs
