About the event
Join us in cleaning up the debris from Hurricane Helene along Curtis Creek, near the Gateway Trailhead. In collaboration with Oak and Grist Distillery and Catawba Riverkeepers, we are united in our efforts to restore damaged Curtis Creek. All necessary tools, PPE, and a waste container for efficient trash and debris removal will be provided.
Following the event starrting at 1:30, Oak and Grist Distillery in Black Mountain has kindly opened their venue for an afterparty to honor our resilience and strength as we continue our recovery. Volunteers and their families can enjoy complimentary food and drinks. If you intend to join the afterparty, please RSVP for both events.
